Aussie Bites
Here we have some super easy yummy healthy feel good on the go BITES. I don't really know what to call them. But if you're into yummy snacks that taste like dessert...you'll be into these.
Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup coconut sugar or maple syrup or honey or all three
1/4 cup coconut (unless you're erin duncan)
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp ground flax seeds (you can't absorb them unless they're ground!!)
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup dried apricots
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 bar of 70% cacao dark chocolate (optional)
1/4 cup peanut butter (optional)
Instructions
Okay so now you got your goods. Just use everything that you have. Don't add stuff you don't like. Or do. Do whatever. You can either cook these into lil muffins or add peanut butter and roll them into balls!!! or split the batter in half and only add peanut butter to some.
for muffins:
1. preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. put all dry ingredients in a high powered blender or food processor.
3. add coconut oil and honey until everyone is nice and thicc
4. dowse the muffin pan in coconut oil so they won't stick. put batter into mini muffin pan. Add chocolate on top if you need it. Don't be ashamed.
5. cook for about 10 minutes.
6. munch. eat them for a preworkout snack, post workout snack, normal day snack, on the go breakfast...just wheneva you need.
